My long awaited warranty story from RL has been started. I’ll continue the story again soon

I missed it on May 30, 2008. Apparently Drakah released a new Default_Old UI for the SoF expansion at the end of May.

For those of you wondering why there were no posts in May, I have placed my real life stories that have prevented me from posting on the blog.

The first story revisits my incredibly unlucky brush with physical misfortune. Yes, I somehow managed to open a full six pack of whoopa$$ on myself and you get the pleasure of reading the gruesome details.

Next up is my unfortunate dealings with my new car dealer and a warranty claim that should have never of happened. Anyone who has had the misfortune of having to deal with a warranty claim on a new car should appreciate this one.

Finally, you can cringe at this image of my toes versus…something. What I’m not sure but whatever it was it sure did win. And no mom, it’s not broken!  And yes people, I know they’re hairy!

The latest game update seems to have caused some EQ players some update issues. For me the problem came in when the patcher was downloading the Legends of Norrath file RuleIndex.dat. For some reason the patcher would hang and error out and I would never get the play button to show up. It was stuck on updating.

What solved my issue was to download the separate LoN patcher and update the Legends files. Then I had to copy the newly downloaded RuleIndex.dat file from my Program Files\Sony\Legends of Norrath\data\archetypes folder and past it into my Program Files\Sony\EverQuest\LegendsOfNorrath\data\archetypes folder.
