I think I’ve discovered how to get the Prometheus head with a little more consistency for making Cronus, The World Hydra. For the longest time I was doing as much damage as I possibly could. I’d be in the 8 to 12 million range but Prometheus was about the only one I could not get.
Well I was on a lower character from a facebook account that I run for work and I couldn’t do as much damage as I do on my account. And guess what? I got 2 Prometheus heads as a reward for killing Cronus.
Now it could have been a fluke so I tried doing about the same damage again over a few more hydras. It worked. Not every time mind you but I’ve gotten Prometheus heads from hydras a couple of times now. Not at every kill but I must have gone 10 or 12 kills without a Prometheus before I started doing the magic damage.
And the magic damage number for me has been…approximately 3.9 million damage. Hope it works for you as well as it has for me lately!
