This has got to be the most enormous lady bug that ever existed! I’m betting it was the subject of some government experiment gone horribly wrong.
When I left for work this morning I noticed this thing hanging above my front door. I was about 15 feet away and it looked like a leaf or something was stuck up there. I figured no big deal and forgot about it until I got home.
Well when I was pulling in the driveway I seen it again and decided to investigate. Turns out it was this ladybug looking beetle that is about twice the size of a June bug. It got it’s leg stuck in an open part of the metal and couldn’t get out.
So I took a few pictures. Then I went inside and grabbed a plastic bag and a step ladder to go get it down. Turns out it was still alive so I put it on the ground and took a quick video before shoeing it off. I wish I would have gotten a video of it taking off and flying around. That looked pretty awesome.

It’s a spotted June Bug.
A friend of mine actually found it on a website. It’s a grapevine beetle

And after seeing this beetle for the first time on July 28th, I just now seen two more at dads house on Sunday.
